Hi I'm Hal and my fiancee is Lani, we currently have a female ball python named BOB (from Elvira). We just lost our Cal King snake to cancer, and we sure miss CrazyLegs--because he has none. (I know I'm odd, but that was his full name, yes the whole sentence worth). We also have felines, and all our animals friends are rescues from previous owners.
I have been disappointed by Craigslist a lot, because I'm finding so many problems there. I wanted to look for a group who is less into controlling the world and more into the animal experience, and I'm also tired of hearing or feeling the idea that if you are less than rich you can't be a good pet owner. I am not a rich person, but I LOVE and care for all my pets, and I am certain they are better off with us then they would be in a packed rescue.
So is this a place where Lani and I can share our reptile/pet experiences? I hope so . . .
