Trouble with black ants. HELP

Black ants have always been atracted to my Vivarium. They constantly build nests in the plants inside, kill the crickets (which are the lizard food) and today I noticed that they are actualy trying to eat my new Garter Snake alive.

This is pretty fucked up, it is horrifying to see ants attacking your beloved pet. How can I deal with these invaders? I tried ant poison that they haul away to consume but to no effect. I was thinking of getting a reptile that eats ants if there is one like a horned lizard or something, the vivarium is huge and can support more reptiles.

any thoughts?

Try Grant's ant stakes. You put them outside of each corner of your building as well as the major spots where the're entering your home and in major infested areas in your home.

I had an ant problem for more than six months...nothing worked until I tried the Grants. Make sure you buy the stakes that have the metal containers.

    Good luck!
